moderately active during the past week,
though there is Plenty of room for improve
ment. Tho arrivals of Flour and Orkin
from the West, have been unusually
heavy, and the same is true of some other
articles we might Mention, and with only 'a
moderate 'demand, stocks are accumulat
ink, and as a consequence, some dommodi
`‘ties ar4 lower, though as a general thing,
there are no material or important changes
to note in prices..

APPLES—:Quiet and the ivals are
again increasing; prices Mach ged at $3,50
