Erie, was destroyed by,, fire on Thursday
night. Many of the firemen from the Dun
kirk Convention were in town, and were

—Brick Pomeroy is trying to find out
what kind of clay he is made of, and wrote to
Senator Pomeroy inquiring what branch of
the Pomeroy tangly he belonged 'to ? The
Senntor replied that "Brick" might take

—The engine "Pennsylvania," used as a
pusher on the Reading Railroad, between

causes the air to-circulate as it is needed. '
