The Benninghoff Robbery.--The case of
the Commonwealth against theAhree - Wil- -
loughby brothers, M. Maloney, Thos. Rea
gan and J. S. Thomßson, alloged to have
been engaged in the 'Benninghof robbery,'
was presented to the Granti Jury, at 'Frank
lan, on Monday. That body failed to find
4 ne ' and ' ordered the discharge of
the prisoners.
Surety of the PeaCe.—Jamea McCormick,
charged on Oath of Robert Barmier before
Justice,Heisel, yesterday, withassault, and
snit whom an information for surety of
the peace was made apthe 'same time ; was
arrested and held to bail for a hearing. If

A Good lidea.--We noticed yesterday

requesting correspondents to use stamped
