Columbia Oil Stock keeps pretty stiff,
and so far as we can learn there is but-lit
offering. The latest sales ranged from
2.1.4 to 23; at the present prices of oil this
Company will be able to pay bandsome
dividends. There is some Inqury for ail
Basin, on speculation, with 13. i bid. This
Company is expected to make a good !Ma .
dend next month, and it is owing to the
:tact that it has been paying regular quer
terly dividends for a' year ,or more, that
some parties are ,wantinglto buy, it up.
' The fact is,. all produang companies, re
.stronger, and it is' not at all Improbable
that some of these, whikh heretofore have
beeri_regarded as worthless, may yer_get
up to par again.

the small increase of loans, which are only.
