The general market, if anything are dul ler than 'during the early part of the week, which is owing mainly tothe uncertainty in regard to values. OFFICE OF THE PITTSBITGE Gess - ETTA / FB.IDAT, July 31,;1868. r - 'I . . * ORUDE—The market although firm, was very trulh neglected' tck-day, the at tention of most of the dealers 'being ab sorbed in .learping the result of a disas trous fire at OA City.. From all that we • could leain; there is nothing in the tile.to influence the market, as it 'was believed . that the amount of oil consumed would not exceed over a few thonsand barrebt. . There was not a single sale reported, though a firmer feeling existed, with 14c, offered; and 14% to 1434 c asked, for, next MoTith, eeller's option. ' REFINED—The market for. Refined oil atthough iluiet, was considerably stronger to- day,- - and particularly was this the case in the• afternoon, after it had been ascer tained, that Antwerp had adVanced to 52 francs..
