We had several heavy „showers of rain early yesterday morning, and last evening several more. The Allegheny River packet Echo No. 3, was sold at auction yesterday afternoon to 'Capt. James Rees, for $5,900, cash. —The following Pittsbamh boats are laid up at St. Louis: Importer, Glendale, Peninah, and Watianita. —The little andniufient sternwheel tow boat, Home, sunk on Monday morning near Clarksville, on the Upper Mississippi. The boat was quietly proceeding on her way, when without visible cause or provocation, the bottom dropped ,out mad the concern went to the bottom of the river.
