The ease to which we alluded some weekaago, of

ly confirmed by the appeamnite of Alice Fisher her
self, who to-day tailed on DR. KEYSER in person,
to thank him for his kindness and skill in restoring
her to ENTIRE AND PERFECT SIGHT. Miss
Fisher has been nearly blind for four months. She
was so blind that she could not distinguish any ob
ject so as to make out what It was. The case le re
markable, as hundreds of cases like her's are doom
ed to never-ending-darkness, on' the flimsy pretext
that there is no cure and nothing can be clone. She
was tinder DR. ./f..EYSER'S treatment for two
months, and before she applied to him, through her
brother, Simon P. Fisher, slight hopes were enter
tinned of her ever getting her tight. tier case Is
well known in the neighborhood where she resales,

PULMONARY CONSUMPTION, RESULTING

Statement of GEORGE 'FORD, carpenter, of No.
16 Sampson street, Allegheny City:
I took a violent attest of pleurisy, in Map. 1868,
whine left 0 with a cough lasting all summer,
wearing away my strength and gradually under
mining my health. During thi, attack of pleurisy I
bad several -physicians of the highest reputation in
the city. After I had partially reroecred from the
pleurisy, I was advised to go • into the country,
which did, and when there I* called in a doctor,
who told me left lung was affected, and 'that if
something were not done soon I would die of CON
subirrioy... I lingered on from this time until
about the middle of June, my cough and lung dis
ease gradually growing worse, and !weaker every
day, and almost despairing of ever getting well.
Indite state of despoil ,ever, and knowing the gen
eral belief of the *lncurability of Consttmetion, and
having heard of cures made by DR. liEl tiEft, and
seeing his advertisement in the newspapers, 1 was
induced in October hist to call on the Doctor at ills
office, 120 Penn street, and: had him ,examine my
lungs with his * "LUNG SOUND." He told me the
upper lobe of my left lung was very much diseased,
but he thought with great care and the perseverance
In the use of his medicine, would get well. At the
time I called on Dr. Keyser ray purse was over one
