portion of it who hav e made the study of
medicine and surgery their profession, can
not fail to be intensely interested in the fact
which has recently come to our knolledge,
of the determination. of (Mang and Eng,
the Siamese- twins, to submit to *surgical

against the modern French dolls In the Ex
hibition. They have nothing to do with
the happy, innocent, ignorant time of child
hood. They look like dolls who know the
