track have been laid this spring, and the work along
the whole Line between , the Atlantic and Pacific
States is being gashed forward More rapidly than
ever before. More than twenty thousand men are
employed, and It isriot impossible' that. the entire
track, from Omaha to Sacramento, will be finished
