with no particialar change in prices. All
fancy styles of light goodi are selling at
very low rates. Staple styles in dark col
orsield firmly in anticipation of improved
prices consequent on reduced. production.
Brinting Cloths of standard makes can be
bought at BX. Printed Calicoes range at
12 to 14, 12% being
. generally the niling
rate for good makes in light : patterns, and
13% for dark styles. The best ma kes of
heavy brown Sheetings bring 17a1734, but
- good enough brands can be had at 16%, and
the Roxbury as low as 1534. Ginghams
more , slowly, at 1134a12. Delaines 16a18.
ArmUres 20. Fine makes of bleached and
unbleached muslins are selling at pretty'
low rates, and stock in first hands. is re
duced, owing to the speculative movement

$2:4, but the demand is not large. Bulk
Meats firm but 4015 t; shoulders at 12c; sides
at 14c. Bacon in moderate order demand,.

for St. Louis with good trips, as did also
the J. N. McCullough, for Cincinnati.
The Wauanita, Captain Thos. Shuman,
is now in turn for St. Louis, and will be the
first boat out for that point.
The St. Charlea, Capt. Chas. A. Bravo,
with Capt. Andy Robinson, Jr , in the
office, is the regular packet for Cincinnati
to-day, leaving at 6 p.m.
The R. C. Gray, Capt. Whittaker, is an
