SPRING..
BY CUARLESIEI7IGSLICT.
See the land, her Easier keeping,
Rises as ha' Maker rose.
Seeds, so lontin darkness sleeping,
Burst at last 'from winter snows.
Earth.with hitivven above rejoices:
Fields and-gardens hail the Spring: .
Shantchs and woodlands ring wlth voices,
While the wild birds build and fag.
You, to whom your Maker granted
Powers to those sweet birds unknown,
Use the craft by God implanted:
-- Gee tbe-reason not your own.
Hereontle heaven and earth rrjoices.
EsaSt his Easter tribute bring.—
Work of finger, chant of voices.
