Relative to the Pittsburgh and Miners

SEC. 1. Be it ordained and enact Counci l* he City gf
Pittsburgh, in &led and Common at:actu
ated, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the
same, That the Pittsburgh and Mine rsville hallway
Company shall be and is hereby relieved from their
liability to clean and keep in repair the streets
through which It passes, except so much thereof as
lies between the rails of said road, and one foot on
either side thereof; Prorided, however, that this
release from said liabilities shall continue for five
years and no longer.
SEC. 2. That any ordinance or part of ordinance
conflicting with the passage of this ordinance at the
present time, be and the same is hereby repealed so
far as the same affects this ordinance.
Ordained and enacted into a law in Councils, the
oth day of April, A. D. 1868.
