committed to jail for vagrancY. She re
lated • pitiful story, alleging tiLt her pa
rents were dead and that she had been
brought to the city by John Ceased?, a
young man to whom else had bien roar
rind about a year, and that her hushand
had been arrested and committed to
thus leaving her without either home or

The writer of the letter stated that about
