arrested and fined by Mayor Morrison for
disorderly conduct Sandaymorning,_ The
boys were discharged on the payment of
their fines, and went their way. Yesterday
mottling information was made before Ills
Honor, by Mrs. Davis, keeper of a book
store on Federal street, charging Joseph
Stewart with larceny. It was alleged that
on Saturday evening, the accused came to
the store while Mrs. Davis' little boy was
attendance there, and desired to see some
pocket books. Two worth one dollar and
twenty-file cents each, were laid out for him
by the little boy,and the purchaser enatched
Omni both up and ran away with them.
Officer Campbell succeeded in arresting
the accused at the Railroad Depot, and on
taking him to the Mayor's office. it was dia.

him as the thief. Ile denied the theft meet
