chief preferred against her by Benjamin F.
Neebold. 11 appears that Eunice IVI/1, employ
ed as a domestic in the family of Mr. it oeboid,
whose wife is absent at present on a visit to
some friends In the West. Taking advantage
of this absence Eunice sought to replenish her
wardrobe out of that of her mistress, anal ac
cordingly appropriated to her use a calico
dress and a merino sack, robed lu which she
proceeded about hor household chores as
asuaL The sack did not ill Eunice as neat as
she would desire it, and taking a pair of anis-

Mr. Neebold—who unfortunately, is compelled
to furnish his wife's apparel out of a limited
exchequer—and he remonstrated with Eunice,
who answered In rather an impertinent way,
"that she didn't rare whether he liked the ar
rangement or not." Indignant at the man
lier m which his remonstrance had been
treated, lienbold made an Information against
Eunice, and she was dealt with as stated.
