dispatches, as heretofore published, as fol
lows
The dispatch of the Associated Press, in re
to the vote in the New Jersey Senate on
the motion to go into a joint meeting to elect
a United States Senator is likely to lead to a
mistake on that subject. The vote was lent In
favor of the resolution and nine against it,
and the resolution was lost because of a prec

Scovill's voting with the Democrats, to
lecke the majority of the whole number,
