The Cristitual Court.
The klatch term of the Criminal Court cam- I

that a quorumof Grand Jurors could not be
obtained, no tipsiness was transacted. The
Court directed the Clerk to issue promises for
willbsenting Grand Jurors, and some of them
no doubt. be "browtit trp standing" before
the Court, and eompeued to . give a reason for
eliedrueglect of the public business. There la
a pretty severe penalty for neglecting te
tend the summons of the Court, but inasmuch
as the compensation Is lhadequate to make
good the loss of time to the great mass of Ju
