A Boxxt Flour.—ln yesterday morning’s
True Pros there was a very hitter personal at
tack upon A. W. Foster, Esq , City Solicitor,
and J. Heron Foster, Eeq., one of the editors of
the DupatcA. Ia the course of the forenoon,
Pierco Q. Foster, son of A. W. Foster, met John
B. Kennedy, editor and proprietor of the True
Prtst, on the side-walk Opposite the Post Office, :
When a collision ensued and blows were struck.
Ur. Foster, as we are Informed, ffor we didnot
see the- fracas,) planted * blow in tho face of
Kennedy, when the latter withdrew from tho
contest. There were various rumors about either
party’s success, and it was somewhat difficult to
get ai.thefacts. .
; We hear that the fight began with a blow from
Foster; that after thatthcro w»a aomo severe
Bj»arriog out into the street, back upon tbo side
walk again otrd' so on. ’ A crowd collected et
eoc<V gathered up from tbo populous street. Mr.
Foster, the father, seeing the melco, rushed in
to the aid of bis eoo, and for a moment H seem
od like a free fight. Mr. Kennedy, attblajanc
tare, went ioto his office and Urns the set to
olosed.
In the after&ooo, A. W. Foster and his son,
of their own accord, entered bail at the Mayor’s
officoin $BOO to appear and answer at the Court
.of Qaarter Sessioosany charge that may belaid
against them by the aggrieved party.
ffetmi—Those who were at the Post
Office* last evening, about o o’clock, happened
tosses'Tierce G. Foster coming through the

blehdiog a littlo about lt .appeara
ibat he had gone into Kennedy’s sanctum to
beard that lion in his den. From appearances,
weiaferthal Foster received a blow in the mouth
which eiaficd the blood. This seoond round was
only a continuation of (be fight that begaa.lnlbo
morning. The time between the rounds was
rather greater than is allowed In programme, eo
that it might be said that neither party came to

parties received any permanent injury,, or will
