Tux Republicans of Collins township met at the
house of Wm. M. Call, Jr., the- usual' place of
holding elections, lo elect delegates to the Coun
ty Convention, pursuant lo a call of the Com
mittee. On motion, Moses Phillips was called
lo the chair and Walter F. Marks appointed Sec
retary. The meeting proceeded to elect dele
gates, when Capt. James S. Negley and Wm. If.
Dennison were unanimously elected; oo motion,
the delegates were instructed to vole against the
recommendation of the County Committee in re
gard to the apportionment of Commissioner in
| 1860. On motion, they were also instructed to
rote against a reduction of delegates * and any
change In the manner bf makiog Congressional
nominations. Adjourned.

appointed a committee to employ a surveyor to
establish the boundaries of said borough, ond
were instructed to make application to r lhe legal
authorities for a charter for the same.
