Dividends to he declared in Ibe months of
January and July of each year.
The company before beginning the construc
tion of the road shall purchase the stock of the
present Pittsburgh and Lawrencerille Omnibus
Company at a price lo be assessed by one disin
terested person chosen hy the Omnibus Compaoy
and one by ihe Passenger Railway Company;
the two shall choose a third disinterested person'
and the majority of the three shall fix the price’
their appraisement to be Goal and conclusive. •
The company must obtain consent of Councils
before using the streets of tho city; said com
pany mu*l keep the streets throngh which they
pass in perpetual good repair, from curbtoourb,
aod for and during the first five years after the
cars commence rooning, the company shall pay
into the city treasury for the use of the city s2ti
for each car run over the road; for the next five
yean, $ ti) per year, per car and thereafter $4O;
also for first tire years they shall pay todhe city
treasury 3 per cent, of the dividends -or net
profits and after five years, 6 per centnm.
The tenth section provides that if thsre be
any disagreement about compensation for use of
turnpike roads, bridges, etc , either parly may
bare hy petition a hearing hefore the Quarter
Sessions, and after a bearing ibo Court shall fii
the compensation.

employee of thcCimbria Iron Company, died on
Sunday night last, from injuries received on the
Penna. Haltroad, at Altoona, on the night pre
vious. He was somewhat intoxicated, and by
mistake got off the passenger train, on which
be had started for Huntingdon, and took passage
on a freight train coming west. Ho soon after
wards discovered his mistake, and in endeavoring
to gel off, fell between the oars, several of which
pissed over him. crushing his legs terribly.
On Sunday bo suffered amputation, but without
