[Per the Pittsburgh Claratta.l Eiggeas °sauna :—Parmit me to suggest to the Marshals for Thursday that the old plan of making a procession as Amy as possible ought to be discard . ed. Our celebration is intended to exhilarate, there fore the funeral style-ought not to be adopted. In place of parading the men by twos, let them be form ed in ranks of - rou, twelve, or even more ; and of horsemen not less than six • and where carriages intervene let at least two go a breast. By the adoption of such a plan there will be a force given to the movement that will have its effect upon the members of the procession—that feeling of support which so eminently tends to raise the spirits —and then the ladies, whose presence Atwell cheers . them displays, will giretheir encouraging smiles end wave us onward with redoubled ardor. There is another reason, which of itself ought to determine the Marshals in favor of the compact or der at this time—l mean the season of the year. In all probability the weather will not be warm; then, as there will doubtless be a vast crowd, lot us by all means so arrange it as to be able to piss any given point in a reasonable length of time, and thereby save the health of our sweethearts and wives.
