:. Oar correspondent states that some Important
facts not understood before, relative to the navi

eeen that the difficulties of reaching this hew

believed to be the Oast, and from the extent of
the emigration, hitherto it is estimated that at !
least 40,000 persons will have gone to Frazer's

That so large a depletion caa ill be borne will

1. That the Federal Constitution, the sovereign 1

the people, mast and shall be preserved. I
2. That we protest against tbe Kansas policy of
tbe National Administration, as at war with tbe 1

for continued loans, without any meant provided for I
their payment, gives evidence of a want of that I
ability and Integrity which should characterise- the I
government of a free people, and unless checked will I
lead to inevitable bankruptcy. ]
4. That tbe purity and safety of the Ballot Box

6. That the National Administration, during all
the late long session of Congress, evinced an entire
disregard of the great industrial interests of the
country, and indulged in a most wasteful and lavish
expenditure of the public money.
7. That the revenue necessary for a judicious and
economical admin titration of the Government should
be raised by the imposition of doties upon foreign
imports, and in laying them, tueb discriminating
protection should be given as will secure the rights
of Free Labor and American Indus try.
