Mmarsors.—The democratic plan for electing
Sibley Governor of Minnesota is thus delineated
in the Ninnesocian:
"The Pioneer of yesterday contains a. tabular
statement of the vote for Governor, by which it
makes a majority of 618 for Sibley. But, in
order to do this, it includes bogus returns to the
amount of more than one thousand votes. Thus
the Cotinties of Cottonwood, Murray, Marlin and
Rock, of whose 'existence the public had never
before been informed, are made to give 219 ma
jority for Sibley—Ramsey may getting two votes.
The unorganized County of Renville is made to
give 119 votes, giving 111 majority for Sibley,
while no one believes it contains that number of
inhabitants. The Counties of Pierce and Davis,
- whose existence has been so completely blotted
out by the formation of new counties that their ,
whereabouts would be difficult to define, am
made to give 00 majority for Sibley."

votes enough into the canvass to defeat the peo,

all their desperation is, and will be, the first Govf
