Strion'Llts Coinannanco,— In our notice of
the burning of the Stoue Church at Cleveland,
we etated that the General Assembly (N. 8.)
was expected to meet in Cleveland in May; and
was expected to held its deliberations In this
church. When 11. c Assembly met in Utica N. Y.,
in 1851, tho only Presbyterian church there
burned clown a few weeks before their meeting,
and the Assembly was compelled to occupy the
Baptist church, which was tendered them. We
bare niece learned that Ur. Aiken, pastor of the
Utica Church at the time, was also plater of the
Cleveland church when it was destroyed. He
preached last Sabbath in Cleveland In reference
to the calamity.—Cin.
