one of the dwelling houses on the south side of
Webster street, between Tormetand High, yes.
terday evening. The Coroner visited the spot,
but we did not ascertain whether any informa

Wa see' by the Court records that the two
Counterfeiters, White of Bodelo, and Lawrence
of Epping, N. H., hare been placed ander ten
thousand dollar bonds, each, for making and
selling imitationsef Ayefo Cherry Pectoral.—
This is right. If the law should protect men
from imposition at all it certainly should protect
them from being imposed upon by a worthless
counterfeit of such a medicine as Ayer's Cherry
Pectoral. We can only complain that the pun
ishment is not half enough. The villain who
would for paltry gain, deliberately trifle with the
health of his fellow man, by taking from their
lips the onp of hope, when they are oinking, and
substituting a falsehood—an utter delusion,
should bo punlehed at least as severely as he
who 'counterfeits the coin of his eountry.—Green

Manse. Cr.asurarottneen: This is to certify
that the mills of your patent owned by the
Messrs. Gilpin & Co., and now in fall opera
tion in the Beandrstne Mills in this city, have
fully came ugdo their expectations, and are all
yon represented them to be. With one mill we
can make sixty barrels of flour in twenty four
hours, and a yield of twenty-four and a half
barrels to the hundred bushels of wheat. This,
after having given the mills a fair trial, appears
to be the average yield from good wheat.
Fours respectfully, Joann Puma.
Head Miller of the Messrs. Gilpin & Co.
Aocordlng to the above important and reliable
certificate, and the testimony of the numeroas
parchasers of these valuable mills, each one of
these mills will make two and a half barrels of
flour per hour, producing a yield of one barrel
of flour from four bushels and five pounds of
wheat. The mill, including the complete grind
ing and bolting apparatus, occupies a space only
26 feet long, 5 feet wide, and 6 net high, and
reqlres bat 6 horse power to propel it.
