The advantage of the opening of these two
routes will be eahanced by the. fact that the
Pittsburgh, Port sitssyne and Chicago Bead will

its Chicago trade, And the greater part of It
(vl2. from here to Port Wafise,) for It St. Louis
trade. Its revenues must consequently improve
very considerably, and the road beeoute, as we
allied it ie destinedto be, one of the greateat and
most actively employed Thoroughfares In the
