The Gnsanatsno. diapb.yed by the Democrat
ic leaders in the late canvass to remarkable. Per
-ceiling that the bulk of the North was lost, they
have concentrated their efforts on three States.
By an tmderstandintr with the Know Nothing
leaders, they have managed thus to carry New
Jeisey, Pennsylvania and Indiana, Wails all the
adjacent States bane been tort except Sentucay.
Indiana bin been carried, while Illinois, Michi
gan and Ohio, States peopled by the tame class
es of inhabitants, hove gone solidly for Fremont,
and Pennayliania has in like manner - been
swept, while New York, Ohio and Maryland,
have been lest. The singularity of these feats
would seem to indicates concentration of money
and votes trim the eurrounding State, in Penn
sylvania and Indiana.—Phila. North Anurium.
We do not see nay particular goneralehip in
this. The Democratic leaden simply sow what
was patent to every vision, that tbeso were till
three doubtftd States of the north, and they 00 ,
centrated thsir efforts accordingly. in this tu.f
