Her fine personation of Camille has given her
a high place in her paten:fon which will be ad

difficulties, and coma forth triumphantly in her
new character, in the play In which etand.s la

Medea is purely classic. It took a every high
place in the Greek drama, being but third when
presented by.Earipides for the prize. It was
translated into the French by Inane, who
stripped It of much of the heavy side play,
chorus, etc., which accompanied It to the Greek
stage. At the same time the translator vivified
it with muoh of that intense life which marks

industry, talent end constant application deserve
success, she will receive it.
She appeared last night in aline piece entitled

what she undertook. We regret that by some

much need newspaper praise.
