Dr. Pressly refused to allow the women the privilege of vo ting at the latter meeting, and moderated the call for Mr. Steele. Steele, alleging that his election was obtained by unfair means, and that the moderating of the call by Dr. Pressley, was irregular, bud sprung upon the congregation. Being thus contradicted in two very important points, his testimony fell to the ground.
