Dr. Edward .Gamble sworn—Saw Cooper,
Ottumwa and McCreary, the 'Tuesday prey- •
ens to November Court week, In my- office in
Washington county. Prisoner told the others
to "fix that thing" and let bins go. That was
about haltpast nine in the .evening. They
shortly afterwards went away,

did'nt do business in my office, he wanted to
warm himself only. cooper was intoxicated.

transpired in the stage coach. Objected to by
