One Is, the admission of Louisiana delegates, and
the recognition of the principle, that Romad
Catholicism is no bar to the admission bf any
Native-bern American' into' the Order. Radii
Roman C L taolies are placed on an entire eqniii
trwith Native-born Protestants, and are entitled
equally to membership and to office. This re
mom the religions proscriptive feature entirely.
The only distinctive principle left is opposition
to foreign-born citizens; whether Protestant or .
Oathiffie.
The other salmis the admission of the dele
gates from Pennsylvania, who "hold under the
State Council which met at Reading, and repu
diated the 12th - section of the platform adopted
last June at Philadelphia. This lea triumph of
the Anti-Slavery section of the' party in this
State, over the Pro-Slavery-ilindoo-12th notion-
Hunsookerseetion. It now locate se if the North
would be vietortous. .
The following are the delegates admitted from

OICILMAI Move:mart —A. handbill was cir
culated yesterday, signed by a number of very
respectable names, calling a =stink at Free
man's Rail, last evening, to select Delegates to
represent our liernian follow citizens -In the
'National Republican Convention Which meets
to-day. - The cell states that the German voters
are aware of the corruption which . Imo vitiated,
and destroyed the usefulness.of the old parties,
and the necessity which exists for a new or
ganisation. Their aim, it says, is to repiesent
the opinions and Wishes of the. German 'citizens
to the Republican Convention, and thas exer
cise their influence on the party which , is now
obtaining its national existence. Nearly all the
men signed to the call have hitherto acted with
the Democrats.
It seems no longer a question,_ that thefionth
ie willing to bear the burdens of a Union, in
which her enemies predominate—that her Re
presentatives at Washington feel no htnilistion,
no dishontir, in being presidia over ruled in ,
or ruled out—dletated to, shuffled over
thie
committee to that committee, by one elected to
dofroul and haul! as. It seems no longer a
question, that Abolition, by firmness and perti
nacity, eau force Southern Pspresentatives to
its lama, galling as they . may be. .It seems no
longer a question,,that the arguSent of the
Union, once so potent at t he North, is powerless
now, and from being the argument which de
tarred the North from aggression, ,it has. be
come the argument_ to drive the Beath into sub
nilselon..,--Cisarfeitos Mercury.
..... . •-
this .ie doneldeiing that the
South has had the Speaker two-thirds of the
time, and the management of the Committees
nearly the Whole time. A new and brighter
ere in ditning, awl we are glad to see the South
submitting to Inevitable neeeseity so patiently.
We do not mind a little grumbling. It relieves
the grumbler and blame nobody.
