The physicians say that the disease has lost none of its malig nity. There were 40 interments on Thursday, sod 28 on Friday. On Saturday 80 orders for coffins bad been left with the undertakers up to 10 o'clock. During Friday night ten deaths oo; cured Miss Wallace, from New York, is doing well. At Portsmouth, on Friday, there were 25 deaths, on Thursday 22, and about 80 oh .Satni. day, Drs. Wallis, of Baltimore, and Ryser, of I Philadelphia, are very ill. Drs. Aspel and Ken nedy, of Philadelphia, are convalescent. Mr. Reeside, an apothecary of Phiadeiphla, is also down with the fever. The acting mayor, Mr. Halliday, was taken to the Hospital on Satur day. It is estimated that of 2200 persona now in Portsmouth, 2000 of tLem are either convalescent or tick. Acclimated wines and physicians are much needed, but the authorities hope that no more will come from the north who have not had the fever, to furnish fresh viceless.
