Osno.—We are: glad to learn from Ohio Mal
the prospects of the oampaign•condnue to lot

. takiti the stamp, and intends to de

thishatically at all points.
Me has, so far, eiroken at Chillicothe, Circle
ville; Zaneseille, and other.prominent plums in
Central Ohio, and has appointments for every
day. at these meetings we notice that the very
best and most prominent men , are in attendanoe,
and the testimony is -general that wherever Mr.
Casenhu been beard he has numeaded In break
ing down whatever disaffection was at first esp-.
parent.. It was in Central Ohio that this disaf
fection was most prevalent, and the result. of
the meetings so far held shows that it arose al
most altogether ficirn misapprehension, which a
little well-timed reasoning bee sufficed to dispel.
Of 'the meeting at Chillicothe the Gazette says:
• "Never since the days of '4O has there been
such a gathering of the honest yeomanry of Old
Ross, as waa convened at the Market Rouse, on
yesterday. Notwithstanding the critical condi-
tton of the wheat, and the absolute necessity of
prompt attention in its preservation, from eight
hundred to • thousand of the; best men in
-the county came up. with hearts all flaming

thy in the great question discussed."
The nine spirit aid enthusiasm were manifest
at Circleville, and at all the other points at
which meetings have assembled. .
In eastern and north-western Ohio there is
not the first shadow of dissatisfaction manifest
ed the eontrary, every thing shows that •
lively, animated and united effort is making to
throw the heaviest vote for freedom that ever
was. east in those sections of the State. -
