Punatairura, August 6.—The steamboat !!'Donald, while on an excursion to Cape May, OW Saturday night, came in collision with the schooner A. G. Pease, from Portland, Con necticut, and _received greet damage, attendrd with loss of life among her passengers. The steamer struck the schooner on the larboard side, and carried away the wheel-hone and all the rooms on that side of the boat. The Evening Post contains letters from the Kinney expedition which states that the Colonel was enthusiastically received by the inhabitants of Greytown; had exchanged courtesies with the British authorities, and had attended a ball, given in his honor. The expeditioniste were all in excellent spirits. A letter from Han Joee says that twenty of the Lopes recruits who joined Walker's expepi don, and afterwards fled to Costa Baca, had been taken by Gen. Chamera's troops, who invaded the territory for that purpose. Tim authorities of Costa Elea had demanded an apology for this . invasion of territory, and also the restoration of the prisoners and the delivery of the authorities who ordered the invasion.
