Cady, and on searching his state room and person found no leis than five thousand five hundred and thirty dollars, in "fives" and. "tens" on the Farmers Bank of Charleston, Va. After conveying Cady to the Hammond street station house, they proceeded to a house of questionable character in the Sev enteenth ward kept by a Mrs. Williams, whom they found in the house together with a man named Arnold.
