In consequence of rumors-of a, large number
of deaths from Cholera inthe Poor noose, a par
ty of physicians 'and citizens visited the - House
to-day and founda condition of things most hor--

All the inmates :were in a horrible condition,
being kept on insufficient food of. bad quality.
