Robert Stinger,was cat in the stomach to each an
extent that his intestines, protruded through the
wound. He was taken — to his residence, where

was severely cut on the head; it is feared his
Skull is fractured. Another, named Roberts,
bad hie arm badly cut. They are all glass blow

respectable audience. The platform was filled
by ministers of various denominations. The pro
ceedings were commenced by Dr. Pressley en
gaging in prayer: The Rev. • Mr. Quick then
read several selected pottions of scripture . and
the hundredth Psalm, in singing which, the large
asserablyseemed cordially to unite. After which
-Dr. Barron - introduced to the meeting the Rey.
Dr. Duff, who then delirered a powerful address
on thacanse of Missions and particularly on In

resolutions, which were adopted , unanimously
by the assembly.
