at the Point, would prevent steamboats from
coming up the Allegheny river to the wharf, ai
, they could not build a bridge' sufficiently high

narrostal their routes to two nathely, - that cross-!,
ing at the Aqueduct, and tilt at the Point, and
if driven from one they Will Aioose the other.-

Aqueduct route to be worth $lOO,OOO more to
theta then the-Point route, while the Point route
will cost. $lOO,OOO. more than the former one.—
