icy of Pittsburgh for a few years put has been
characterized by the most disgraceful, contempt
ible selfishness ever manifested by any commu

will be the reaord of what Pittsburgh did to de
stroy the .Wheeling Bridge, to stop the building
of the dempfield, and to break down the Lake
Shore Road. Let a man travel through any

ferries with the roads, charging a fare of Ave
