The Sons of Tetoperanco of this City, and its identity had a grind procession yesterday, in - which between twelve and thirteen hundred be longing to the order, -searched. . The Democratic State Convention met here, and was largely attended. Good temper and great enthusiasm prevailed. At 12 o'clock, Mr. Bice, of Brooklin, nomina ted Mr. Bristol, of Ligon, (Rusher,) on tempo. Tory Chairman, and at the name moment Lc pham, (Barnburner,) of Ontario, was nominated by Mr. Stetson. A scene of great confusion en. stied, in the midst of which the nominations were put to not.. Both parties claimed the vic tory. It was then proposed to appoint two Sec retaries, who should call the roll in order to se• certain which of the nominees for the chair had received the votes of the majority.
