ish government in relation to American fisheries,

citing character. which may end in the destruc
tion of life, and threaten the peace of the two

reservation at that place with a view to the im

through the public binds, each companies to have
one hundred feet of ground on each tide, and

Mr. Smart moved to lay the bill on the table,
which was decided in the negative.

Appropriaiton Bill was then taken up in commit

ing a Committee of Conference on the amend
ment of that body to the Deficiency Bill, dies

to pay a balance due for mileage and the per
diem of members; or, as was said, Constructive

from its disagreement and this appropriation

requesting the President to transmit all the cor

Government, and remarked that it was tho sat
