in Pennsylvania; and we are of the impression
that the Bishop of Pittsburgh is invested with
the right of holding property in mortmain. It
was held to be a dangerous prikilege in England;

This evening Mr. Behead will deliter hie third

The historical facts embodied in this lecture are

It is stated in the Cumberland, Md., Journal
that John_ F. Winslow, Esq., President of the
Mount Savage Iron Works, hoe purchased in
England ten thousand tons of heavy T raile,for
the Bellefentalne and Indiana Rail Road Com
pany, five thousand of which are to be of the
Compound pattern of Mr.Winlow'a patent. The
