WAIST/LI:MN, June 24, The Court Martial in the case of General Talcott reassembled today at the usual hour.- klarris Allen was milled to the stand, and tes tified that he was clerk in the Ordnance Barran from 1832. Dr. Carmichael called on him on the Bth of November for a list of prices of shot hitherto furnished the Bureau. He gave Dr. C. such a list, which he believed to be perfect, un til stonily afterward, when he found the shot had been furnished at lower prices by a Phila. delphis tizut, and mentioned the circumstance to Genteel Talcott, who seemed vexed at the male glom and the furnishing such a list at all, and directed witnem to inform Colonel Huger of the prices of shot furnished from Philadelphia. Captain Maynandier was called, and stated that the manner of purchasing ordnance supplies was by orders approved by General Talcott. He recollected but one written contract doting his connection with the Bureau, • which was made when Mr. Wilkins was Secretary of War, and that was written in triplicate. Orders were usually made verbally; written contracts were the exceptions. The witness gave further answers in relation to his former testimony; as did also Mr. Ander son, but nothing additional was elicited. The Court then adjourned until Monday.
