Gov. Johnston, and in favor of Wm. F. Johston
as the whig candidate for Governor - and of Gen.

dent. The closing resolution is as follows:,

most illustrious men and most distinguished of
living American orators, we bare *hitherto kept
steadily in view the prosperity and honor of the
whole eOrmtry, and the preservntion of the fedor.
