Hny Buckingham, of Hlmhurst, who CONTESTANTS. finishes seventh, Is the youngest of the entlie list of winners, being but 13 yeais old. He was limited somewhat In his sphere of action by the size of the town he lles In. hut has done re markable work considering his years. Ho did not apply for enrollment until May 20, being the forty-third one to do so. He made his flint return on June 3, taking ninth place, nnd for awhile did not Improve upon that posi tion, but on Juno 20 he took sixth place and kept it until Just a few days before the close, when he was passed by Miss Meredith. Miss Vida Pedrick. MIs-s Vida Pedilck, of Clark's Sum mit, who finished In eighth place, was another who had a lather small field to work In In her home town. Hut she has done remarkably well, having moie points, even In eighth place, than the winner of fourth place had last year.
