treated to a novel entertainment
yesterday morning by nn Infuriated
Italian making desperate effotts to re
cover his hoise which he had Just
traded to Frod Woundt, the black
smith. The horse received by Wey
andt had shown his ability ns a pole
climber, much to the amusement of tho
Italian and many onlookers, but when
tho Italian attempted to resume his
way he found his animal was very
much attached to Weyandt nnd lefused
to leave that neighborhood.
After a wordy war the son of Italy
proceeded to unhitch his hoi so and de
manded the leturri of the horse he had
Just tiadcel, whereupon Weyandt hur
ried the horse In his possession away
to a nelghbotlng stable and he himself
was hard to find After many attempts
the Italian located the horse of his
choke In the barn of H. L Washer
and ho proceeded to enter head tltst
thtough a small window nnd soon re
appealed In the doorway leading his
hotse, closely followed by Woandt.
Dining the next half hour theaffectlons
of both men were lavlhed upon that
horse as they had never boon lavished
before, but In the end Weyandt decided
that $-50 would assuage his grief at
pining, whereupon tho entertainment
closed, the Italian going on his way.
