In Special Rewards.
THE SCRANTON TRIBUNE has inaugurated its second Educational Contest which, like the first, is open to every ambitious per
son, not only in Scranton, but throughout Lackawanna and other counties in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This contest will be
even greater in magnitude than its predecesssor, embracing special rewards of the very highest character, and will be carried
out in strict accordance with the rules of fairness and justice.
The first contest, which occupied the attention of our readers from July to October of last year, met with such encouragement and
was so successful in every way that it has been decided to repeat it.
This year the special rewards are limited to those of an educational character, eight scholarships being offered to the very best educa
tional institutions in the state.
