Our community was greatly shocked
to hear of the death of Miss Uv.inwe
lino C'urglll, which occurred nt .Scran
ton Sunday morning. Two yearn ntjo
she went to Scranton and cnterod upon
a courso of training for n nurc. She
had nearly finished her course, when
sho was stricken with typhoid fever,
which moved fatal. She was th.s
daiiKhter of Mr. and Mrs. Kilns I Car
Rill, of the township, nnd Is survived
by them and by two sisters, a brother
nnd other relatives. Sho was a mem
ber of the Methodist Episcopal ehttreh
hero nnd wns highly esteemed by all
who know her. Tho jomnln wore
brought up on tho forenoon train nnd
tho funeral services were held In the
Methodist Episcopal church at 11 u.

Itev. A. T. David, who was assisted
by Itev. I'. H. Tower. The choir ren
