Somewhere in the world life Is at
itake every minute of the day. Right
at our own doors, perhaps, is going on a
fctruggle as grim and fierce as any fight
or flight on record. You hear the hoi
low tearing cough ; see the ooze of blood
which tells of the wounded lungs ; mark
the emaciated body and hectic cheek,
and know a life is at stake.
The use of Dr. 1'lerce's Goldeu Med
ical Discovery has saved many a life in
just such a crisis. It cures obstinate,
deep-seated coughs, stops the hemor
rhage, strengthens "weak" lungs, and
restores the emaciated body to its nor
mal weight and strength.
There is uo alcohol in the "Discov
ery," and it is absolutely free from
Opium, cocaine, and all other narcotics.
"I detlrr to tend you this brief, unsolicited
teitlmonial," write Rev, Joseph II. Fespennaii,
Barium Springs, Iredell Co , N, C. "In 1898 one

give her Dr. Pierce' Golden Medical Discovery

to recommend Dr. Fierce'! medicines to my
neighbors, who, without exception, used then
with favorable results."

THE AMERICAN NAVY.
To the Voice of Seranton
People.
If you will but listen to your friends
and neighbors they will tell you how
the pains and aches of a bad back,
the annoyances of urinary troubles,
the nervousness, the restlessness which
come from kidney Ills can be relieved
und cured. Head what one Seranton
citizen says:
Mrs. A. S. Daldwln, of 1371 Wyoming
avenue, says: "Since childhood I have
had attacks of dull pain across my
back, very often Increasing when I
went to bed at night. If I did any
lifting or stooping my back felt lame
and sore. I used different remedies
recommended to me from time to time,
but could not get much, If any benefit.
Hearing of Doan's Kidney Pills
through a friend who had used them,
I had my husband get me a box at
Matthews Brothers' drug store. After
taking them a few days I could feel
their effects. Finally they cured me."
For sale by all dealers. Price, CO
cents. Foster-Mllburn Co., Buffalo, N.
