The weather last night was Ideal
and thousands of persons were attract
ed to Municipal park by the Mozart

who several months ago was operated
upon for appendicitis, was taken ser
iously 111 last week and has since suf
fered intense pain In the legion of hi

hospital at Carbondale, where an oper
ation will be performed upon him this
morning for the removal of pus which

years of age, grandson of Henry
Brown, of the Berrlngton Stock Farm,
at Greenfield, was kicked by a horse
quite severely in the stomach yester
day and very berlously Injured.

Rev. M. E. Lynott, pastor of Sacied
Heart church, will today move Into
the new parochial residence which has
been erected for him south of the
